Program
From Mozart to a medley of songs from The Sound of Music, our Fabulous Fall Concert will be an unforgettable evening of fabulous music. The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, under the baton of Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq., will perform an inspiring concert that promises a rich program to delight music lovers of all ages. The concert features a powerful lineup, including Mozart’s triumphant Requiem featuring soloists Renée Burkett (soprano), Zsofia Nemeth, Esq., (mezzo-soprano), Jeff Grief (tenor), Eric Castro, Esq., (baritone), and Benjamin Natkin, Esq., (bass-baritone); a heartfelt tribute to the 60th Anniversary of The Sound of Music, and timeless classics like Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Trombone Concerto showcasing trombonist Barry Goldberg, Esq. Adding a modern twist, the orchestra and chorus — led by Choral Director Jim Raycroft — will perform the uplifting “Baba Yetu” with soloists Terrence Li, Esq. and Rebecca Bullard, Esq., —a Swahili piece originally composed for a video game that has since become a global favorite. So, let these musically talented lawyers, judges, law students and legal staff make music together and bring harmony to all.
A portion of concert proceeds will benefit Beverly Hills Bar Foundation and LA County Bar Association’s Counsel for Justice, which both provide legal services for those in need.
